Oakhurst Pool

Welcome to Oakhurst Indoor Pool

Located within the Oakhurst Recreation Center at 450 East Lake Drive, our indoor pool offers a refreshing aquatic experience year-round. A separate entrance is located on the right side of the building.

Facility Features:

• 5-lane, 149,000-gallon indoor aquatics facility
• Limited bather load: Up to 50 swimmers at a time, in adherence to American Red Cross lifeguard to swimmer ratio recommendations
• Programs for City residents and non-residents, including swim lessons, water aerobics, open swim, Decatur High School swim team activities, and rentals

Pool Hours
Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Saturday: 2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Pool Admission
Our pools cater to swimmers of all ages and preferences. Below are our admission fees for different age groups. Please note that starting in the 2024 season, our pools will only accept cashless forms of payment. However, if you do not have access to a cashless method, we will accept exact change as payment:

Resident Cards are going digital!
To receive the resident rate, all patrons must be verified in CommunityPass as a City of Decatur Resident. To become a verified resident, visit any of our four centers - Decatur Recreation Center, Ebster Recreation Center, Oakhurst Recreation Center, or Glenlake Tennis Center - with a government-issued ID and proof of residency, such as a lease agreement, closing statement, or utility bill. Resident cards will no longer be accepted. 

If you are already receiving a resident rate for other activities that you or your family participate in, it means you're verified as a resident in CommunityPass, and you're all set! You can download a digital resident card to your smartphone or pick up a key FOB at any of our four centers.

Swim Schedule
Lap Swim: Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. - 9 a.m.
Open Swim: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.; Saturday, 2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Sunday, 12 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Holiday Closures
Please note that the facility will be closed on the following dates each year: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.

Important Information
Summer outdoor pool passes are not valid at this location.
Parking is available at Oakhurst Recreation Center or Oakhurst Park. Patrons can utilize these parking options and access the pool through the fence separating the park from the recreation center.
