2024 Swim Team Programs
Junior Gators (5+ yrs)
$185 Resident / $210 Non-Resident
Monday-Thursday, 4-4:45 p.m.

Our Junior Gators program is open to swimmers 5 and older at the time of the start of the summer season. Junior Gators is for kids that are close to swimming but not quite ready for a full summer league team experience. Junior Gators may participate in swim meets. Children must be able to swim unassisted in the deep end of the pool.
Practices are Monday-Thursday, 4-4:45 p.m., until meets begin.
Practices will be Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday after the swim team meets begin.
The following are required for a swimmer to be on Junior Gators, swimmers must be:
• Comfortable in the deep end
• Able to put face in the water and blow bubbles
• Able to swim 15 meters unassisted
All swimmers will be evaluated in the first week of practice to determine if Junior Gators is the right fit for them.
Evaluation dates for Junior Gators: May 1, 5-7 p.m. and May 2, 5-7 p.m.
Decatur Gators - Non-Competitive (5+ yrs)
$150 Resident / $175 Non-Resident

Our non-competitive program is open to swimmers 5 and older at the start of the summer season. The non-competitive program is for kids that are close to swimming but not quite ready for a full swim team experience. There are no swim meets but children must be able to swim unassisted in the deep end of the pool
Decatur Gators Swim Team (5-18 yrs)
$275 Resident / $300 Non-resident

Our Gators Swim team is open to swimmers ages 5 and older at the time of the start of the summer season. All swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted. Participation in swim meets is expected. Home meets will be at Ebster Pool.
Practice will begin on May 6
Last day of practice will be on June 20 (Junior Gators and Gators)
Championship meet will be held the week of June 24. (Day and times TBD)
5-6 p.m. Beginner
6-7 p.m. Intermediate
7-8 p.m. Advanced
Due to pool water temperature in early May, children should be prepared to do dry land exercises for the first week. Parents may want to purchase a wetsuit for children.
Adult Non-Competitive Swim Team (18+ yrs)
$200 Resident / $250 Non-Resident
Tuesday and Thursday, 6-7 a.m.

The Non-Competitive program will be open to swimmers ages 18 and up. Program will start on June 4 and continue through August 29.
Fall League Swim Team (8-14 yrs)
$225 Resident/$250 Non-Resident

Our Fall League Swim Team will run August 5 -September 12. Practices will be in the afternoons on Tuesday/Thursdays at the Ebster Pool, with meets on Saturday mornings.
This season is targeted towards (but not limited to) swimmer’s age 8-14. There will be 5 meets on Saturday mornings. Age groups will be 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13 and over. The goal of this season is to provide swimmers with additional opportunities to participate in meets without the full commitment of year-round swimming. Additionally, this season will provide a great chance for kids who will be swimming for their school teams to stay in shape.
