Outdoor and Indoor Pools
The City of Decatur has three outdoor pools - Ebster, Glenlake and McKoy - and one indoor pool - Oakhurst. While our outdoor pools typically welcome swimmers from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend, the Oakhurst indoor pool is open year-round.
Pool Admission
Our pools cater to swimmers of all ages and preferences. Below are our admission fees for different age groups. Please note that the pools will only accept cashless forms of payment. However, if you do not have access to a cashless method, we will accept exact change as payment:

Digital Resident Cards
To receive the resident rate, all patrons must be verified in CommunityPass as a City of Decatur Resident. To become a verified resident, visit any of our four centers - Decatur Recreation Center, Ebster Recreation Center, Oakhurst Recreation Center, or Glenlake Tennis Center - with a government-issued ID and proof of residency, such as a lease agreement, closing statement, or utility bill. Resident cards will no longer be accepted.
If you are already receiving a resident rate for other activities that you or your family participate in, it means you're verified as a resident in CommunityPass, and you're all set! You can download a digital resident card to your smartphone or pick up a key FOB at any of our four centers.
Season Swim Passes
We offer convenient season swim passes for families and individuals. Once verified, you can purchase your season pass online through CommunityPass or at any of our four centers. Please note that passes will not be available for purchase at the pool counters. Season swim passes are valid only at our outdoor pool locations.

Oakhurst Indoor Pool
We offer convenient monthly or 10-punch passes for swimmers. Once verified, you can purchase either pass online on CommunityPass or at any of our four centers. Key FOBs are also available at all four centers.
Safety and Guidelines
Safety is our priority, and we ask patrons to adhere to these guidelines:
Avoid large floats or tubes that obstruct lifeguards' view
Prohibit water guns or items that can cause harm
Encourage close supervision for children in approved PFDs
Adhere to diaper guidelines for young swimmers
Parents, closely supervise and educate your children on pool safety
Refunds and Weather Policies
The City of Decatur takes no responsibility for the weather. Rain checks will not be issued for patrons who have entered the water. In the event of inclement weather, the two hour limit will be suspended and patrons may wait until the weather clears before returning to swim. Patrons may also leave the facility and will be readmitted later in the day once the weather has cleared. A rain check will be issued for patrons who have paid to swim, but were prevented from entering the water by thunder or lightning.
Pool Reservations and Rentals
Looking to host a memorable event? Our pools are perfect for graduation celebrations, birthday parties, reunions, and more. Rentals are on a first-come basis, requiring a completed reservation form and full payment two weeks before the event. Rates vary based on attendance.
