FAQs & Resources

“I am often reminded that at some point we were all non-residents of the City of Decatur, and that careful planning from City leaders both elected and staff, and citizen participation, led us all here to the place we call home.  We must have an ongoing dialogue for equity and inclusion for all.  That is the core of the Decatur we all fight for.  Our situations change, we don’t know what will happen tomorrow. A diversity of housing creates opportunity when circumstances change.  They may lead you to a place that you might have been opposed to originally.  All these things lead us to home.”

Mayor Pro-Tem At-Large Commissioner Tony Powers
