The City of Decatur Human Resources Office is part of the Administrative Services Department. The City of Decatur consistently seeks to recruit, hire and retain employees who will represent the city's mission, core values, and have the skills necessary to perform the job today and tomorrow. It is the responsibility of this division to continually assess, recommend and implement equitable and fair compensation and benefits for all employees and retirees. Currently, the City of Decatur has 230 full-time positions, 300 part-time seasonal staff, and 70 retirees.
