Circulator Shuttle Pilot Program

Downtown Development Authority and Publix Sponsoring New Transportation Program with Let's Ride Atlanta

A component of Decatur’s strategic plan is to create a circulator shuttle, thus promoting alternative modes of transportation and connecting residents with business districts.

A new shuttle service will transport residents from Downtown Decatur to the Publix at Sam's Crossing Village! The 90-day pilot program runs January 16-April 18, and the shuttles will run continuously from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with multiple pick-up and drop-off points.

The three-month program will be operated by Let’s Ride Atlanta and sponsored by both the Decatur Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and Publix Super Markets.

The collaboration is with Let’s Ride Atlanta, a service offering free rides within a one-to-three-mile radius in the heart of Atlanta in electric carts. Let’s Ride Atlanta will provide the drivers and two electric carts, which seat 3-4 people each.

Shuttle Route and Schedule:
