Charges indicated on ticket must be paid by court date & time displayed on ticket. If paid after the court date and time, the fine is doubled.
Payment for fines may be sealed inside the ticket envelope and left with the desk clerk at the police station at 420 W. Trinity Place, Decatur, GA 30030; stamped and mailed to that address; or paid online at the web address on the back of the ticket prior to date of court appearance. To dispute charges, violator may appear at the Municipal Court, 420 West Trinity Place, Decatur, GA 30030 at 9:00 a.m. on the date specified on the ticket.
Unpaid accounts will be turned over to a collection agency after 30 days.
