Join us for a public engagement meeting on Wednesday, July 15, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Oakhurst Recreation Center, 450 East Lake Drive, Decatur, GA 30030, to learn more about the upcoming East Lake Drive Repaving and Safety Improvements.
City staff will present updated safety improvement concepts shaped by comments and feedback from the first public meeting, along with an overview of the planned repaving project on a portion of East Lake Drive scheduled for this spring as part of the Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant program. The meeting will outline the scope of work and highlight opportunities to enhance safety along the corridor.
This meeting provides another opportunity for community review and input before work begins. Attendees will be able to learn about proposed refinements, ask questions, and share feedback related to traffic speed, pedestrian crossings, and overall corridor safety to help inform final project decisions.
