The City of Decatur will receive sealed bids for the 2024 City of Decatur Shared-Use Path, South Columbia Drive, until Thursday, Nov 7, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Decatur City Hall, 509 North McDonough Street, Decatur, Georgia. The Request for Proposals, Plans, and Specifications are available at https://www.decaturga.com/rfps.
Before beginning construction, the successful bidder will file the required bid security, certificate of insurance, and other applicable documents with the City as outlined in SECTION 5: TERMS AND CONDITIONS, with the terms and surety to be approved by the City. The City reserves the right to reject all bids and waive formalities in bidding. Bids are to be submitted using the proper form furnished by the City. They should be sealed, dated, and enclosed in an envelope appropriately marked on the outside "Proposal for 2024 City of Decatur Shared-Use Path, South Columbia Drive”, marked with the bidder's name and date and hour of opening.
The proposal shall be mailed or delivered to the designated office on or before Thursday, Nov 7, 2024, at 3:00 PM, when it will be publicly opened and read aloud. A bid security in the form of a bond or certified check equal to or greater than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposed bid must accompany the proposal.

• Non-Collusion Affidavit of Prime Bidder,
• Federal Work Authorization Program forms for Prime Bidder and all listed SubBidders.

The City of Decatur may hold bids for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids to review the bid and investigate the bidder's qualifications before awarding the contract.
