Request for Proposal (RFP) - 2024 Decatur Resurfacing Project

The City of Decatur will receive sealed proposals for the 2024 Decatur Resurfacing Project for the Department of Public Works. 

BID INSTRUCTIONS:

One original and two signed copies of the bid must be received in a sealed envelope marked “Decatur Resurfacing Project” with the date and time of the bid opening on the envelope. A company representative submitting the bid must sign in blue or black ink. 

SUBMITTALS DUE:

All responses to the Request for Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “City of Decatur Resurfacing Project” no later than 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2024.

REQUIREMENTS:

Three copies of the proposal are required. Proposals should be 8½" x 11" in format. The following documents, at a minimum, are required to be submitted as part of the vendor’s proposal package:  

• Instructions 
• Compliance with Specifications  
• Proposed Warranty 
• Experience and References  
• Equipment Price Form 
• E-Verify Affidavit
• Non-Collision Affidavit of Prime Bidder 
• List of Proposed Sub-bidders
• Federal Work Authorization Program forms (Prime & Sub)
• Terms and Conditions requirements

 The City of Decatur may hold proposals for not exceeding thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of proposals to review the proposals and investigate the vendor's qualifications before awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any proposals and to waive informalities.
