Fire Apparatus

The City of Decatur Fire Department has several units. The front line trucks include:

• Rescue One, a 2018 F-550 with a 1500 gpm pump and 300 gallon tank
• Engine One, a 2010 E-1 with a 1500 gpm pump and 500 gallon tank
• Quint One, a 2019 E-1 with a 1500 gpm pump and 470 gallon tank
• Engine Two, a 2016 Sutphen with a 2000 gpm pump and 750 gallon tank

In addition, there are reserve units, an all hazards response vehicle, and a misting trailer. The public is welcome to come and sit in the trucks and view the tools inside these vehicles. Decatur trucks are white because when we get on a large scene with mutual aid departments, it is easy to see which trucks belong to Decatur.
