The City of Decatur will receive sealed proposals for an ELECTRIC OR HYBRID FIRE ENGINE with Equipment for the City of Decatur Fire Department.
Bid Instructions
One original and two signed copies of the bid must be received in a sealed envelope marked “Electric/ Hybrid Fire Engine” with the date and time of the bid opening on the front of the envelope.
A company representative submitting the bid must sign in blue or black ink.

All responses to the Request for Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Electric/ Hybrid Fire Engine” no later than 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, to:

Three copies of the proposal are required. Proposals should be 8½" x 11" in format. The following documents, at a minimum, are required to be submitted as part of the vendor’s proposal package:

• Proposed Warranty
• Experience and References
• Equipment Price Form
• E-Verify Affidavit
The City of Decatur may hold proposals for not exceeding sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of proposals to review the proposals and investigate the vendor's qualifications before awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any proposals and to waive informalities.
Bid opening will be on December 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
