A message from DeKalb County
The DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management is urging residents to conserve water as crews work tirelessly to repair a significant water main break on Clairmont Road near Dresden Drive. The break, caused by the aging of a cast iron pipe installed in 1941, has affected water pressure for approximately 8,800 households and 20,000 residents in the Toco Hills area and surrounding neighborhoods.
Current Status
Repair crews have been working around the clock to address the issue. While progress has been made, the complexity of the repair requires additional time. Residents in the affected areas may continue to experience low to no water pressure until the repairs are completed.
