City of Decatur Sets Tentative 2021 Millage Rate

At its regular meeting on May 17, 2021, the Decatur City Commission adopted a tentative millage rate of 13.92 mills for fiscal year 2021-2022 for general operations, capital improvements, downtown development authority operations and debt service.  This is the same millage in place for the current fiscal year.

The Decatur City Commission will hold public hearings regarding this issue on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. and Monday, June 21, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m.  The final millage will be set at the Decatur City Commission meeting scheduled for Monday, June 21, 2021.  All meetings will be held via teleconference.
