Decatur Beach Party

Decatur Beach Party Returns June 13, 4 - 10 p.m.

Celebrate the start of summer with a favorite local tradition—the Decatur Beach Party. The event features a sandy street “beach” on Ponce de Leon Avenue, live music, and familyfriendly entertainment. Guests are invited to bring shades, buckets, and beach toys to build sandcastles and enjoy an evening of tropical-themed fun. Food trucks will be on site offering classic boardwalk fare and frozen treats. Whether relaxing with friends or dancing to live music, attendees of all ages are sure to enjoy this signature summer kickoff.

To keep things safe and festive, please note the following road closures:

East Court Square closes at 4:00 a.m. E. Ponce de Leon Ave (between Church St. & Clairemont Ave) closes at 7:00 a.m.  

N. McDonough St. closes at 11:00 a.m.   

Plan ahead for parking and deliveries, and we encourage everyone to use nearby decks for easiest access.
