To conduct a rummage sale, yard sale, or similar sale, please complete the online Yard Sale Permit form. By clicking “Submit” you agree to abide by the City’s rummage sale regulations, and you will receive a confirmation message that will serve as your permit for the yard sale.
Regulation for rummage, garage, carport and similar sales:
- Applications for permits for rummage, garage, carport and similar sales shall be made on or before the date of the sale.
- Items purchased for resale may not be sold in rummage, garage, carport and similar sales.
- One sign not exceeding six square feet in area may be located on the premises of the sale to advertise the sale. No signs are permitted on utility flagpoles.
- A maximum of two sales are permitted at any address during a twelve month period. No sale may be held on more than three consecutive days.
- Except for estate sales, no sale may be held at an unoccupied residence.
- All signs must be removed by midnight on Sunday after the sale.
