Pipeline Replacement
Atlanta Gas Light Resources Company is working in the City of Decatur over the next few months beginning March 22 to replace old metal gas mains as part of a 15-year project known as the Pipeline Replacement Program.

Decatur Garden Tour Celebrates 100th Anniversary of Oakhurst
The Decatur Garden Tour is
Saturday, Sept. 25, 10 a.m.-
5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 26, noon-5 p.m. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the incorporation of the original township of Oakhurst, many of the featured gardens are located in that area. Tour stops include the Oakhurst Community Garden Project (OCGP), a national model for successful community gardens; the residential garden of Stephanie Van Parys, OCGP executive director; and the famed “garden rooms” of designer and author Ryan Gainey.
