Decatur Celebrates Earth Hour and Challenges You to Join In!

Saturday, March 29, 2014 - 8:30 pm

We are challenging Decatur residents and businesses to take the Earth Hour pledge to switch off their lights from 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm on Saturday, March 29.

Started in 2004 by the World Wildlife Fund, Earth Hour is a global grass-roots movement encouraging individuals, businesses and governments around the world to celebrate their commitment to the planet by switching off their lights for one designated hour.  Learn more at the Earth Hour website.

Donate to Environmental and Social Projects Using Earth Hour Blue

Earth Hour is now embarking on its final stage to bring together our global communities and give them a complete platform, to help raise funds and take action on environmental issues important to them.

Earth Hour Blue is an all-encompassing, global crowdfunding and crowdsourcing platform for the planet. It is all about the collective effort of individuals around the world getting together to help fund or add their voice to support on-the-ground environmental and social projects that deliver real outcomes.
