Volunteering for a Decatur special event? Go paperless! Fill out a volunteer profile in our secure online system that you can access any time you sign up for an event. Your volunteer hours and events can be tracked through your profile, and the new system also allows you to receive email alerts and messages, check schedules and request the shifts you prefer.
As Decatur events continue to grow, our new system streamlines the process for volunteers to sign up, make changes as necessary, and keep up with a variety of times and dates. Fully implemented at the Decatur Book Festival, the software is now being used for subsequent special events including the Decatur Craft Beer Festival, Decatur Wine Festival, and Tour of Homes.
If you have questions or need help navigating through the new system, email Sherry.Jackman@decaturga.com. If you have questions regarding community and nonprofit volunteer opportunities, email Leeann.Harvey@decaturga.com.
