Great Location, Easy Access Decatur is located just minutes east of Atlanta and minutes west of Stone Mountain, with easy access via Ponce de Leon Avenue, College Avenue, Clairemont Avenue, the College Avenue Corridor and the South Candler Street Corridor. The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) has three rapid transit stations within our city limits including one in the heart of the downtown district. The Clifton Corridor Shuttle offers free transportation between the Emory University campus and downtown Decatur. Parking is plentiful in decks, metered spaces, and private lots.
Once here, a variety of retail, restaurant and service businesses are within easy walking distance on pleasant tree-lined streets. Pedestrian and bicycle access is a top priority for our economic development program.
