Important Dates Everyone is invited to the following focus group meetings (even if you don't fall into either of these groups). Wednesday, Jan. 20 • 10 a.m.-noon Focus Group Meeting Families with Young Children Decatur Recreation Center 231 Sycamore St. Stop by for coffee, cookies and conversation about cultural arts in Decatur and what that means to you and your family.  Wednesday, Jan. 20 • 6-8 p.m. Focus Group Meeting Young Professionals Eddie's Attic 515 N. McDonough St. Share your thoughts about cultural arts in Decatur over light refreshments and soft drinks. Other beverages will be available for sale.

Decatur's Cultural Arts Master Plan process will begin in November. It will include an inventory of existing cultural arts facilities, programs, and public art located throughout the city, identification of program and facility needs, and recommendations for partnerships to meet those needs. We will hold several public input sessions to gather information about the arts from the community. Details about these meetings will be updated on this page.
