For safe summer fun, there’s no better place to be than at Decatur Active Living playing baseball! Decatur Active Living offers coed leagues for children ages 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12. Each player receives a replica jersey, hat, pants and an end-of-the season award. Practices will be held at local school and park fields, beginning May 22. Games will begin with Opening Day, Saturday, June 2 and continue until July 26. The age control date for baseball is August 31, 2018.

Participants cannot participate in GRPA competition and school activities during the same period. This applies to both public and private school.

Everyone Loves a Parade!
Come help Decatur Active Living kick off the baseball season with its annual Opening Day Baseball Parade. Come join us on Saturday, June 2 for fun, baseball, laughter and free hot dogs. Every participant will receive an opening day pennant. Volunteer drivers, organizers and convertible vehicles are needed. The parade starts at McKoy Park and continues through the Oakhurst business district down East Lake Drive and ends at Oakhurst Park. Youth Baseball Picture Day
Youth Baseball Pictures will be taken in June. Players will receive picture information from their coach.
