Infill Task Force

The City Commission has appointed an 18 member task force to address the isssue of infill housing in Decatur. The task force will assess the problem, consider the viewpoints of different stakeholders, and prepare recommendations for the City Commission to consider in the fall.

Infill Task Force: Next Steps 

The Infill Task Force has completed its work and submitted its recommendations to the City Commission. The task force could not reach concensus on one set of recommendations and presented two reports that reflected the views of the task force.

City staff will review the work of the task force and will recommend changes to the existing infill guidelines in late May or early June 2007.
