The Traveling KeenAgers
Join the Travel Club for adventure. Trips are paid for on an individual basis, so you can pick and choose the right trips for you. Check out the Playbook to find out about upcoming trips. Please don't wait until the last minute – trips book fast. To register, stop by the Decatur Recreation Center or call 678-553-6547. Pay your fee and enjoy the trip.
Billiards
Bring out your pool sticks and cues and play on some of the best tables in Decatur. Participants play every Tuesday at Twains, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fee: $2.50 per hour. Lunch $.
Bowling
Join the KeenAgers as they bowl at Suburban Lanes every Monday, 11 a.m. to 1 pm. Fee: $1.50 per game. Lunch $.
Bridge Club
Get your trump ready, grab your tallies and make your bids . . . Bridge Club has a table waiting for you! Bring a snack; coffee is provided. Call 678-553-6547 for a reservation for your foursome! Bridge Club meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 10 am. Fee: $1 non-resident, Decatur resident free.
Decatur Red Hat Society
Put on your red hat and purple dress and tour the town. Decatur Red Hats meet the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Decatur Recreation Center. Fee: $15 annual membership.
Hiking Keenagers
Want to increase your fitness routine? Why not hike some of Georgia's beautiful state parks? Transportation will be provided to and from each destination. All you need is a sack lunch and plenty of water.
Line Dancing
Line dancing encourages a more active, healthy lifestyle, reduces stress, lowers blood pressure, improves muscle tone and increases your energy. Line dancing meets every Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. Fee: $15 per month nonresident, $10 per month Decatur resident.
Scott Park Garden Club
Attentive, responsible gardeners are needed to care for Decatur's own Scott Park Community Garden. Interested diggers and planters should attend the Garden Club meetings at Decatur Recreation Center on the second Wednesday of every month at noon. One plot available per Decatur resident; available plots assigned on a first-come basis.
